TEAM - HANNAH HILL - Yoga Instructor

Hannah first discovered yoga while working as a counselor with at-risk children and their families in New Haven, using pranayama to promote relaxation and behavior modification. Seeing the benefit for her clients, she then began practicing yoga for personal fitness and relaxation.

It was the birth of her daughter that compelled Hannah to become a yoga teacher.  Yoga served as her sacred space to meditate and re-energize in the early days of becoming a mom.

She completed her training at Kaia Yoga in Westport in the Spring of 2011 with the goal of helping others to experience the physical, mental, and spiritual benefits of yoga.

Her Vinyasa flow style is sure to help you create a sacred space amidst the buzz of daily life. She invites you to come explore, learn, and grow together.

About Hannah

Hannah grew up in Northern Virginia spending time outdoors at her grandparents farm gardening and riding horses.  She studied Psychology at Emory & Henry College with a focus on children.  She has also taught Environmental Education in the Smokey Mountains of Tennessee and has hiked half of the Appalachian Trail. Hannah now lives in New Canaan with her husband, daughter and dog.  A full-time mom, she spends her days playing outside, gardening and cooking.  She aims to help her family live a holistic lifestyle centered around balance and simplicity.  This sometimes works.  She is also active at her church where she offers a yoga class to the Youth Group.  Hannah believes that time spent practicing and studying yoga helps her to be a better mom, partner and community member.
