Teresa Nilla has seen the body’s ability to heal through energy work first hand. She was introduced to the value of alternative healing therapies when traditional medical treatments did not cure her sick infant. Teresa was further convinced of the healing power of energy modalities after she developed Lyme disease. After 8 months on antibiotics, she still had Lyme symptoms. Reiki and Jin Shin Jyutsu helped to clear the toxins from her body and strengthen her immune system. Within a year of energy work, Teresa’s Lyme symptoms disappeared without further medication.
After experiencing the value of Reiki, Teresa studied and received her various certifications. Teresa is currently in the process of receiving her certification in Clinical Aromatherapy by learning the various essential oils over the course of a year. Her comprehensive training and experience in integrative energy practices coupled with strong intuitive skills enable Teresa to provide optimal healing and health for her clients. About Teresa
Teresa grew up in Long Island and is one of six children. In college, she majored in business. Teresa worked for over 20 years in the packaging and cosmetics industries with expertise in printing and purchasing. While a stay at home mom she started her energy practice and obtained her real estate license.
Teresa lives in New Canaan, CT with her two teenage sons. She enjoys outdoor activities, especially biking and hiking. Teresa is on Women’s Fellowship and Middle School Youth Group committees at her church. She also participates in relaxation practices such as yoga and meditation.
